UNREST IN MACEDONIA.

NATIONAL ASSEMBLY DEMANDED. AIUTINVf OF GARRISONS. A COMMANDER ASSASSINATED. TUB TURKS AND ALBANIANS. Received 17, 9.7 p.m. Constantinople, July 17. There is extraordinary unrest in Macedonia. Major Marzbey and many other officers of the Young Turkey Party have quitted their posts at Rcsan.' and recruited armed adherents at Ok'hridtt and Fiorina, and demanded a national assembly. Several garrisons, owing to their non-discharge upon expiry of service, mutinied. A battalion which, recently assassinated Shcmsi, their commander, refuses to march against their Resna comrades, after Shcmsi's death.

The Albanians, many of whom also demand a constitution, are being expelled by the Turkish authorities from Liuma, Forigovito and Egristina districts.

An Albanian shot and wounded General Sadik Pasha in the neck aboard the Mcssageries steamer Sidon on the voyage to Salonika when passing the DardaneTles. He was arrested and handed over to the Turkish authorities. A Turkish officer at Salonika killed a Turkish regiment chaplain who was acting as spy for Yildiz Kiosk in connection with the Monastir troubles.
