RETALIATION HINTED AT. Received 17, 9.32 p.m. Capetown, July 17. In the Cape Assembly, Dr. Viljoen gave notice of a resolution declaring the reason given for tho Australian restrictions in regard to the importation of ■ Cape forage was unsatisfactory, adding that if the restrictions are necessary in Australia there should bo similar reasons for restricting the entry of Australian produce to the Cape; furthermore, that then- was no reason for continuin'g the differential arrangements between South Africa and Australia.
