I The. ballot recently made by circular in connection with the choice for the Opposition candidate for the Oroua seat resulted in Mr. Guthrie being nominated. Mr. Atkinson (the other Opposition candidate for the scat) congratulated Sir. (-utluie, and promised him all possible assistance. The polling was very heavy, and considerable interest was takon'in the result.
