SIEVIER BLACKMAIL CASE.
EVIDENCE. London, July 12. J. B. Joel's evidence in the Sievier blackmail case gave sensational details of defamation practised by Sievier an<* attempts to borrow money extending over years. Under cross-examination, Joel admitted that a warrant had been issued for his arrest at Johannesburg twenty-five years «g6, but said it was afterwards withdrawn.
