Takaka. is at present on a holiday visit |o this district renewing old acquaintances. Mr. 11. A. Mills, of Rahotu, has purchased a farm on the Newnll road an.; intends removing there shortly. The weather during the past fewdays lias been very wet and cold, and as a result feed is'geUiiisr scarce. Mr Arthur Corbett is leaving the district, next m'mth, having leased his Farm on (he Ihnja road, Opunake, The allomianco at the Kahui road school has considerably increased since the School has been a full-time one, and as at present every available seat, is occupied, an enlargement should soon be necessary.
