There were about 1-100 fat lambs penned, and they sold at late rales, tegs making 17s to 17s lid; one extra lot, 2lls i)d: lighter, lis to l(is 10.1. The entry of fat sheep was smaller than the previous week, and competition was confined to the butchers. The supply was not beyond requirements. Prices all round were firmer, prime wethers selling at higher rates than for some time past. The range of prices was:—Extra prime : wethers, to 255; prime, 18s 6d to 23s 8.1; I lighter. 14s (id to 18s; extra prime ewes, to 23s 3d: prime, Ids (id to Ills (id; medium, 13s to l(is; light and aged, 9s to 12s Oil; prime merino -wethers, 15s 3d.
