ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
SUICIDE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Friday. Charles Henry Stables, accountant lo Messrs. P. Hayman and Co., committed suicide by cutting his throat in the bathroom at his residence, lie leaves a young widow. .Stables rose shortly before eight o'clock, telling his wife lie meant to get his razor ad. He proceeded to the bathroom, where he put an end to himself. He was wicket-keeper of the Carisbrook R. team, and a well-known sport. Deceased was 30 years of age, and had been married for ten months. It is feared that financial troubles af!- i feetcd his mind. Dunedin, Last Night. At an inquest on the body of 'Ci 1 Staliles, who committed suicide this morning, the jury returned n verdict of suicide while temporarily insane.
