ANGLICAN CHURCH SYNOD.
WOMEN REFUSED A VOTE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At the Wellington Diocesan Synou to-day, a mo'./On was submitted allirming the principle and advisability oi granting to church women the privilege of voting at parish meetings. The voting was:—Clergy: Ayes. 10; noes, 22. Laity: Ayes, 2a; Noes 10. The motion was therefore lost, as to carry it required an absolute majority in each section of the Synod.
