S.S. CLAYMORE.
REPORTED WRECKED OFF WAIKATO HEADS. NO DEFINITE NEWS AVAIf.AP.I.E. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. A rejiurt was abroad in Auckland tonight to Hie clioct that the Northern Company's steamer Claymore, from Oneliunga to Raglan and Kawhia. was wrecked near the Waikato Heads.' The steamer left Oneliunga this morning for the ports named with a general cargo. Raglan was t,, have been worked first, but probably finding the sea too hoavv, the captain decided to work Kawhia lir.it. A message froTn Kawhia was received to-night and states that a steamer was coming into port at 5.1)0, which was probably the Claymore.
Another report (.fates that a barque was in di'lress off Waikato' Heads and that the Claymore luul gone to her assistance. No definite news is available.
