A meeting of the Xtw Plymouth Boxing Club was held last night in the Town Hall. 'Tile meeling considered the remits of the proposed amendments of the Civii Service Superannuation scheme. All the remits were carried, and the vote was unanimous except in regard to tije proposed age limit. A division resulted in favor of the retiring age limit ut (111 for males and 50 for females. The secretary, Air. W. .1. Wiggs ((loads Department) is the delegate to Ihe conlereme. Amongst the remits from this branch is one in favor of extending exciirsicii railway rates to all Civii Servants on holiday, in view of tile fact that few Civil Servants are able to lake, their leave when excursion fares are rilling.
