VAOAKIES OF OLU-AL'E PENSIONS ACT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. "It Secins to be an extraordinary _ state of things that a man's destitute wife should be debarred of her old age pension because her husband happens to possess a few shillings a week byway of income," remarked Mr. Kettle this morning in tile course of a. Maintenance case, in which the husband stated that he had an income of ISs (id a week, and the wife who had not lived with him for 20 years, explained that because of this they had taken away her old age pension.
