ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A WOMAN'S DEATH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchiirch, Last Night. An inuuest was held to-night touching the death of .Mrs. Mary Ann Groves. Medical evidence was given to the effect that death was due to the effects ofan irilant on the stomach and stated that the woman had been in the habit of taking lemale pills, also cayenne pepper. 'Hie inquest was adjourned to allow the contents of the stomach to be analysed.
