-.\UOIU KXTUIITAINICUS. The Kotorua Maori entertainers will make their appearance iu the Theatre Hoyal on Wednesday next, and be led by the Rev. A. Dennett, who is wed known in New Plymouth. The Maoris will present a programme which is sai-l to be unique of its kind. Of eoursc the native games so inseparable from Maori life will form a strong feature of the entertainment, but iu addition to these there will be presented the beautiful love-story of lliueinoa and Tutanekai in the form of a >crics of life-like tableaux for which -penal scenery and limelight effects have been prepared. Then tinmale quartette and the female quartette. cou-i>liug of picked voices from the choir, will sing several of their sweetly pathetic song*, as well as many mirthprovoking numbers from their large repertoire. An elulKiraie specimen of Maori carving in the form of a native whare will form a striking feature of the opening scene. "The Maori at Hume." The wild hakas of the men must be seen to be thoroughly appreciated, while the fascinating canoe paddling by the poi girls eannot. fail to attract favorable notice. The whole performance is said to be highly entertaining and instructive.
