At Stratford on Tuesday bidding was good for nearly all classes, prices showing nu improvement ou late rates. On Wednesday «l Mangntoki the sale of .Mr. K. .!. Linn's pure-bred and grade Jersey herd attracted a very large attendance. Buyers were present from all part of the coast, and the South Island was also represented. The pedigree entile were a nice lot, in good conditon, and realised excellent prices. The grade ' cows were well competed for, and all sold exceptionally well. Horses, implements, and sundries made satisfactory prices. JENKINS, MATTHEW'S & I'IOOTT'S REPORT. Owing to the wet weather prevailing on Monday the yarding was not as good as usual, and buvcrs were not plentiful.
