Wellington, Last. Night. The hearing was cujnmcuccd at the Supreme Court to-day of an actiopi in w'luch Edward John Snarl claims £IOOO from Thomas Patrick Lyons, a former partner, fo r slander. Kcarl says Lyons charged lum with blackmail and "with robbery in taking moneys belonging to the partnership and not accounting for the same. The evident* was not contlndcd when the Court rose for the day.
