The New Zealand Shipping Company's Euapehu is expected to arrive in Wellington early this afternoon. The newly-inaugurated New ZealandCanadian steamship line, according to the Sydney Morning Herald, is likely to cater for passenger service, and" the owners are also contemplating the installation of regrigerated holds for. the carriage of frozen meat, butter, etc., from Sydney and New Zealand to Vancouver. ship Cmnpany advise that an arrange- ,_, ment lias lwen come to between the ' American and Australian Steamship Line and the United' States and Australian '• Steamship Company' whereby steamers will be despatched from New York to New Zealand ports, via Melbourne and Sydney, regularlj every three weeks for the future. Thf last steamer to leave was the Leanara, on June 10th, and she will be followed by. steamers leaving July Ist, July 22nd,. August 12th, September 2nd, September 23rd, October 14th, November 4th, November 25th, December 16th, and it is intended to despatch steamers to these dates, irrespective of whether thsr are full or not.
