OLD-AUK PENSIONS BILL. OPINION'S OF FRIENDLY SOCIETIES London, June 2#. The Government invited the opinions ©f the principal friendly societies on the non-contributing scheme of old-age pensions. The majority have replied favoring the present Bill. Others including the Northumberland and I)urfcam miners, favored a relief fund. Th» Bechalritcs and Druids consider the pensions will have an injurious effect, discouraging thrift. The Oddfellows and come other* decline to express opinion.
