A meeting of the Turanaki Lawn Tennis Association was held at New I'lyniouth ou Wednesday evening. Mr. J. J. Weir presided. Delegates repre>euting llawera. l'atea, Mantua, lug-te-wood, and W.Y.M.I. (Stratford) ami the •lion, secretary, Mr. ,1. t'atoil, were pre--••ill. The meeting continued the secretarys action ill sii]ip"rting the No*v Zealand, Management Committee's proposal to u-e Sykes' balls instead of Slazengcrs' at tile championship tournament. Mr. )!. X. K. Swanstoil, of Wellington, was appointed one of the Taranaki delegates Oil the New Zealand Association. ° The secretary reported that the bal lance in the l«ilk was .Cl!> 18s 'id til"' largest balance ever held by the Assoeia lion.
