Supplies of American chilled beef arc small, and there are only light stocks of New Zealand brands on hand, llinduuartcra 4d, forequartcrs 3d. Butter. The market is very firm, with a brisk demand. Danish 110s, choicest New Zealand 113s, Australian 10«s per cwt. Cheese.—The market is quiet but firm. White makes 04s, colored 5Ss per cwt. Hemp.—There is better demand for hemp. Good fair grade on the spot is quoted at £2S, fair grade in all positions t25 Ills. Cocksfoot Seed—The market is quiet.
