Mr. Oddy attributes iiis victory to his advocacy of fiscal reform, his opposition of the Education Bill, and the people's general dissatisfaction with the Government At last genera] election Mr. Whilelfy '(liberal) defeated Colonel Ford (Liberal Unionist) by 7043 votes to 3541.
