TARANAKI HUNT CLUB.

The 'J'aranaki Hunt Club hold its fortnightly meet at lnglewood oil Thursday. After lunch at the Kailway Hotel, the company proceeded to Mr. Wickstead's property on the lvaimata road, about three miles from Inglewood. The throwoff was made punctually at 1 o'clock, and numerous short runs were indulged in, but an over-abundance of hares batllcil the hounds. .U about 3.H0, after a nice run, a good kill was effected. Mr. and Mrs. WSckstcad entertained the club to afternoon tea at the conclusion <»f the hunt. At dusk a start was made fur Tnglewood.
