Times representative that it was considered probable that southern visitor# to Auckland during .the visit of the American fleet would be conveyed rignt through by the Main Trunk route. The only serious obstacle will be an iinlinis'ied bridge. It is intended that if this cannot be crossed the train will run to ,< each side, and passengers walking across and continuing the journey oil the other side. ROTORUA ARRANGEMENTS. Auckland, Monday. Mr. T. 11. Hamer, one of the Commissioners appointed by the Government to arrange for the. crews of the American fleet, returned from Rotorua on " Saturday night and left, for Wellington yesterday to confer with the Premier on the visit of the officers to Rotorua.
