Ten thousand women suffragists marched from Jxmdon 'Embankment to the Albert Hall with the object of convincing Mr. Asquith (the Premier) that educated women demand the franchise, the parties currying appropriate banners and bannerettes. Lady Francis Balfour declared that though Mr. a»„„ith was less favorable than the late Sir Henrv Campbell-Banncrman, he could be squeezed.
