the New Plymouth, Seaside Improvement Conimittee, after inspecting the beach in the directiun ot Moturoa with a view to devising means ot encouraging patronage uf that summer resort, is of opinion that the Railway Reserve. comprising some VI acre-, between the railway line ami the lieach and between the Belt road and Uayly road, should, if possible, be secured l>y the Wougli or some specially-cou-tituted authority. The land, which is fenced, is let tor grazing purposes, but, licing l overrun with lupins, is practically useless. \ carriage drive could lie constructed through the reserve, connecting Hie two road* above mentioned, at very little tost.
