TAHJia. (From Our Own Correspondents). The Church of England Committee have arranged to hold u concert and dance on June 11th, in aid of the geucr- | ill fund. At a recent meeting of the I committee il ivas decided that Sunday ] evening services should be held throughout the year, except on the second .Sunday in the month, when there will ha morning service and Holy Communion. The excursion to Alomohaki experimental farm was a. great success. The parly numbered Ai : including a good sprinkling of ladies. A special firstclass carriage was attached to the mail train for the accommodation of the party, and on arrival at. Alomohaki conveyances from the farm •were waiting to complete the journey. Air. finlanders, the courteous overseer, showed the visitors round, and there were many things to be seen of interest to farmers, especially the experiments in tupdressing grass paddocks and manuring of root crops. ,Soine of the visitors were rather disappointed in the cattle, for excepting the Kerry Uexters there was little tu altraet the attention of the dairyman. (In the whole, however, all were agreed (-lint the farm was well worth a visit, and that the outing had been a very profitable one.
