HOME INDUSTRIES.

SUCCESSFUL DISPLAY IN WELLINGTON. Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The scheme to display Dominion manj ufactures in the shop windows was taken up well in Wellington, and the cards "Made in New Zealand," were prominent in most of the shops. Some of the displays, particularly of blankets, nigs and woollen goods of various kinds, are excellent, while in other branches of industry goods aro shown in profusion and in variety quite surprising to many ■people. It is expected that the exhibition will have a good effect, both in demonstrating to the public the quality of the articles made in the -country. and in promoting a patriotic spirit {'.:■'. will encourage local manufacture.
