Per Press Association. Palmcrst-on N., Last Night. The fourth annual competition for the second Wellington Battalion shield was fired at l'almorston to-day. There were ten men a-side, seven shots each tit 200, 500, and (100 yards. Scores:— AVanganui Killes 000, Palmerstoii North Hides 808, Manchester Hides 801, AVanganui' (luards 807, AA'angaum Highland P.illes SOU, Koyal Kangitikoi Killes 779, Palmerstoii (luards 757, AVanganui Irish Killes 040.
