KAISER AND PEACE.
WHAT UE HAS DONE. Received Ist, 10.0 p.m. „ Berlin, June 1. The Kaiser, toasting the King and Queen of Sweden at Berlin, cited the North Sea and Baltic agreement* as proof of peaceable disposition and as being destined to make lor the maintenance of the peace of the world and tranquility of Northern Europe. King Gustaf, in responding, rejoiced over the two agreements, which, besides helping to consolidate the peace ol tne world, had drawn Germany and Sweden closer, permanently strengthening their good relations.

It is reported in Rome that the Kaiser hag initiated an exchange of noted between the Chanceleries of Berlin, Vienna, and Borne with a view to preparing a joint manifestation of the solidarity of the Triple Alliance as a reply to King Edward and President Fallicres meeting in London and the Czar's meeting with King Edward at Reval.
