WHANGAMOMONA COUNTY COUNCIL.

At a mooting of fho Wbangamomona County Council held at Whangamomona oil Wednesday last there were present: The chairman (Mr. \\\ A. MeCutehan), and Councillor.-? J. E. Anderson, Jones, A. Meredith, R. McCluggage. T. Mc--1 Uroy, and K. B. Robertson. Tin.' lolloping resolutions were passed: — That the Council open a hanking account with the Bank of New Zealand at Stratford. Coleman be appointed clerk and treasurer to the Council. That the Stratford Coumril be informal that this Council U prepared to take out the control of works from and after the date of the Stratford County Council's meeting in dune, and that tais Council desires to convey its appreciation and thanks for the Stratford Conntv Council's consideration in hitherto attending to the«e works.
