EUMOYi: KOAD. (From Our Own Correspondent). The very wet ami unfavourable weather on -Monday (Empire Day) spoiled the sports gathering that was'to have been held at lOgmont linnd. There was no sign of the weather clearing up till alternoon, and the ground was sodden with the previous night's heavy rain. However, a few enthusiasts went to the paddock about three o'clock and indulged in a couple of hours' sport, I such as horse-jumping, tilting in (he ring, and three-part race, about a dozen I horses competing. Messrs. Okey, M.P., L Ji. Webster, and T. Taylor olliciated as judges at the jumping events. In the evening a very large and enthusiastic audience came to the new hall.
