A man named Charles liatchlor, a hairdresser, fell oil' the Kerry v oad tramcar last night and fractured the base, of his skull, lie. is now in the hospital in a serious condition. This morning a man fell off a scaffolding at a building being erected for Malcolm and Co.. warehousemen. lie fractured several ribs and had his head cut. lie also is in the hospital. Dannevirke, Last Night.
The youngest child of C. K. Smii ; Makotuku, aged about three years, wan clei'ed to a creek near the house llii> afternoon and was drowned.
