was gay with uniforms, oilieers of the battalion and other local companies and visiting volunteers attending. Apart from the ballroom itself was still another success—the supper. The tables, arranged by Mrs. O'Driscoll, were quite a triumph of the decorative art, the. beautiful blooms having been nent by Mrs. K. Anbii, of Ngaire.
