Received May 20, 0.30 a.m. , .Sydney, May 25. , Governor Rjuvson, speaking at the Empire Day celebrations, characterised Cardinal Utile's statement abouf the want of patriotism on the part of colonials a« a gross shuider. Bo could only hope" the Cardinal was misquoted or misled. He (the Governor) liad travelled over the greater part of New South Wales, and had seen demonstration of loyalty.
