ANTWERP RAILWAY ACCIDENT.

THE SIGNALMAN DEMENTED. Brussels, May 22. The victims of the Antwerp accident were mostly peasant pilgrims from Turnhout shrine. The signalman who was arrested became suddenly demented. The collision occurred at tho village' of Contich, near Antwerp. The Brussels express was mistakenly turned on to a siding, where a .crowded pilgrim tram was Raiting. The express engine was thrown on the top of the pilgrim train, crushing several carriages. A number of young girls dressed in white fur their lirst communion were killed.
