At a meeting of the Napier Harbor Board to-day I letters were received from the Wairoa County Council. Ilawke's Bay County Council, and Patangala County Council as to overdue rates owing by Crown tenants, and suggesting that the Land Board should be the body responsible j ivr their collection. It was decided that a deputation from the Harbor Board and other local bodies interested should wait on the Commissioner of Crown Lands regarding the matter.
