The British football team had a good practice on the Atheltic Park this morning, and this afternoon gymnastic work was prone through. The visitor* have expressed a desire to have the Athletic Park entirely to themselves for thet purpose of training, and the Xew Zealanu Rugby ("nion is doing all it can to ensure the visitors' desire. In order to enable (lie visitors to (rra»p any differences between the rulings of Xew Zealand referees and those of England in regard to the laws of football, a s]iecial meeting of (he Wellington Referees' Association i> to be held next week, when the British team will lie invited to attend and to disni-s with the referees any points that may seem to require elucidation.
