LONDON MARKETS. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cable messages from their London house, under date of the 14th inst.: Butter—The market is very weak. The Copenhagen ollicia'l quotation is four kroners (about 4s lid) per cwt. lower. The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending llth inst. amounted lo 80,000ewt., as compared with 87,UII0ewt. for the corresponding week of 1!)07, showing a decrease of 70ri()cwt. Finest, 104s.

Frozen meat (in general)— The market is easy, but not quolably lower, except heavy weights, which are lower bj '/id per 111. The output has improved. Copra—The market is demoralised and there is no demand at a reductioi of (id per unit. Wellington, 13lh, May. 1008.

LONDON DAIRY lIEPOKT. Messrs. 1'). Grillilhs and Co. are in receipt of the following market report from (heir London principals. Messrs. Mills and Sparrow, dated 3rd April:--The wealhcr though line is on the cool side, and n little more bright sunshine is wanted to bring the pastures along.

BITTF.IIS. Danish.-To the surprise of many, the quotation was yesterday reduced two krouers. From a market point of view this was unnecessary, as the butters were clearing, lmt it is evident the Dam's are an.xious to get buyers on again, also to stop, if possible, the increase in Die demand for margarine, which at the present moment is prettv bigSiberian.—Only about 2,(100 casks came to hand this week; holders finding buyers did not come on at last week's prices have given way slightly, and there lias in consequence been a better trade and practically a clearance.

French.—There has been a reduction of Id per Hi. on fresh rolls, and Ss to 10s per civl. on salt. At the reduced rates buyers are showing more, interest and there should be a good trade.

Australian.—The butters ex s.s. liritannia ('211,000 boxes) are to hand and are. clearing at about last week's prices, although the quality is in the majority of cases indifferent, many of the. brands haying suffered from heat. Here and there a 'brand seems to have escaped and opens well; these realise full rates, but even the faulty marks are clearing because of the general shortage, of butter that can be retailed at Is per 11).

New Zealand—There has been considerable delay in the delivery of butler ex s.s. Kaikoura, and this Ims caused ;;reat inconvenience and annoyance to uiiMiv buyers who at the present moment are' Hot flocking heavily, hut, rely on gctthi" delivery ex these regular steamers within a reasonable time. J lit t - ters are iiracticallv sold and quality uf those landed is all right.

CHEESE. New Zealand takes first place at tin moment, the quantity of Canadian being very small and price* nominal. Tin markct'is certainly firmer; and about lover last neck's quotation is obtainable This applies to both white and coloured,
