FIRES.
Per Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. A six-roomed house, owned by Peter Hunter and occupied by Robert Wilson (of Donald Reid and Co.), i n Balclutha, was totally destroyed by Are early this' morning. Mrs. Wilson was away from her home, and Mr Wilson was staying at a hotel, so the dwelling was temporarily unoccupied. The origin of the fire i» a complete mystery. The building insured in the Norwich Union for iluO, and in the State office for £IOO while Mr. Wilson had £2OO on his fur' mture in the Yorkshire office.
