For some time the Lytton street school, winch is the second public school in l'eilding, has had to work under cramped conditions, so much so that an over/low of seventy children has had to be accommodated in a shed. Tile school committee has in vain sued the Department to provide proper accommodation, and has been backed up by the Wanganui Education Board, but the reply of the Department has been that there was room for the overflow in the high scliooi.
