- "CI.W:i'EIXA" TO-XICIIT. This evening "Ciudurolla" is duo U commence lier \ alies under the man agemeut of Messrs. William Anderson, tile well-known impresario, and Jolm F. Sheridan, iho lamous comedian, better known as "Widdy U'Hrieii." As no expense ha K been spared to make the performance an elaborate one in even* particular, good value for the money is more than certain. The cast of characters is an exceptionally long one. Sir. .1. F. Sheridan plays the Baroness; Miss Heba Barlow, Cinderella; MiV, Stella Selbourne, Prince Charming; Miss Mabel Eaton, Dandini (he valet; whilst Mr.Edmund Page, a well-known English comedian, will play one of the Ugly Sisters. Mr. James Hughes, who is the possessor of an excellent baritone voice, will undertake tile part of the Demon King. A feature of the production will be an original animal act, by acrobats, entitled ''The Cow." The Demon Leap act will be done by Rioardo and Miller, two clever acrobats; whilst Mr. Fred Norvis has been specially engaged to do a wonderful turn on skates in the "Snow Ballet." The Fairy Queen and Buttons will be played by Miss Boanes and Mr. •lack ITagan respectively. The cast is too lung to mention everyone. The scencrv is said to be magnificent, anl the costumes novel and attractive. One hundred and eight people liavo been brought to iNew Zealand to take part in tSc production, including twenty-four little children. The music is bright and catchy, and *OlllO of the tunes are sure to be whistled shortly throughout, tins Dominion. The box' plan is at the Dresden.
