ST. MARY'S PARISHIONERS' MEETING.
To tlii! Editor. Sir,—l have attended many public meetings in my time, but never have i before seen sin-h unfair treatment as was given to Major Coleman at the meeting of St. Mary's parishioner* last night. That an adult member of the congregation, who supply the funds whereby the church is maintained, should lie ruled out of order ior asking a simple question as to the expenditure ot those funds is, to my mind, numerous. As Major Coleman was debarred from making his grievance known in the proper place and time, I would advise him to ventilate it through tin' Press, which cannot be muzzled. If the result is not satisfactory to the chairman, he has onlv himself to blame for it.—l am, jfce., " A PARISHIONER WHO WAS PRESENT.
