SUFFRAGIST DEMONSTRATION

A u WILLING " CROWD. London, May 12. Noisy obstructionists—both men and women— refused to permit Mrs Fawcett and Mrs Despart to address a suffragist demonstration at Cardiff. The crowd smashed some of the windows of the ha]], captured the banners and mottoes of the Suffragists, and stormed the platform, compelling the ladies to flee. This is intended as a revenge for the suffragist tactics at the Dundee election.
