G. Gudgeon proceeded against. U. Ward on a judgment summons for CI 15s. Defendant did not appear, and was ordered to pay the amount forthwith, in default a week's imprisonment in New Plymouth gaolj Warrant to be suspended "for six weeks. Air. Graham appeared for plaintiff. K. P. Lawson v. H. Ward, claim .CI. Deiendaut did not appear, and was ordered to pay the amount forthwith, in default a week's imprisonment in New I'lyiuoutli gaol. Mr. Graham appeared for plaintiff. T. W. Kolston v. Tonga, claim ,C 3 His Sd. No appearance of defendant, who was ordered to pay the amount with costs of translation and mileage forthwith, iu default, ten days' imprisonment iu New Plymouth gaol. Twenty-nine other eases on the cause list were either confessed, paid into Court, or struck out. The evidence of two witnesses was taken in a Palmerston North case, after which the Court [ adjourned.
