Pritchard and Webb, represent- - ing the Blaekbn 11 miners, and represens tatives of t'lo Blackball Company, with - a view to settling the trouble'm the mine, Christchurch, Last Night. • A message received from Wellington to-day stated it is understood that a Conference will be held at Christchurch to-morrow between Messrs Pritchard and Webb (representing the Blackball mines) and representatives of the Blackball Company, with a view to settling the troubles at the mine. Seen in regard to the above telegram Mr A. A. McKellar, agent for the Blackball Company, stated that on Tuesday week last, the secretary of the union telegraphed asking if the company would receive a deputation from the union. The company consented to do so, and it was decided to hold the conference on Tuesday last. Owing to the holiday festivities m connection with the Otira tunnel, however, the conference was postponed till to-morrow. Any arrangements made by the deputation will be submitted to a full meeting of the union. °
