This club. although e->entiaily Catholic. doe; not limit lis membership to Catholic-', non-Catholics being eligible for election as member.-; under certain conditions. J<or ilie amusement of its members the club has provided a billiardtable, cards, draugnts, chess, etc., and it piano, and intend in the near future to >turt a gymnasium, l'or tlie mcnl-u advancement of its member* are provided a good library and reading-room, ami the syllabus includes at least two oratorical contesK for which gold medals have been presented to the club, debates, literary and os-ay competition*. and lectures by prominent townsmen. I might add that the club rooms will be liberally fumigated each evening with tobacco-ainoke. —1 am, etc., INTERESTED.
