THE MURRURUNDI RAILWAY ACCIDENT.
FINDING OF THE ENQUIRY.
Received (3th, 10 p.m. Sydney, Hay 0. The board appointed to impure into the Jlurrurundi railway accident, found that tlie responsiblity rested on Nightoilicer Dwyer and Acting-signalman Gibson, who were guilty of gross negligence. In the board's opinion, the home signal was not placed at danger, after tlie arrival of the division train, and until after the accident, notwithstanding tlie evidence of Gibson and a shunter to that effect. The board was satisfied that the home signal was in good working older up to the time of tlie arrival of the first division train, and makes certain recommendations with a view to improving tlie shunting and signalling at Murrurundi.
