To the Editor. Sir.—hi reply to A. ,\. Penn. J beg to say I have no time for the subjects lie mentions, but it appeared to nic lather flippant lor a healthy young man to complain of his (juartew in such a manner. Aow, what does lie want? ile complains of not knowing how to spend his spare time, has an invitation thrown out to him, ami yet he decline* it. I hope the cause U not the subscription. 1 would call his attention to the times of the pioneer settlers, who no doubt left comfortable homes. Did they find Y.M.C.A.'s and comfortable reading and writing rooms and amusements? Ihey ->et to work and made their own. Let A. .T. Penn do the same. This is a young country, and much credit is due to all those who have done their part, in the building up of it, and to those who arc endeavoring to improve present '•onditions; but if such young men as \our correspondent are dissatisfied in the direction aforementioned and make complaint of trivial things, they had better stay at home. A,< for "A.TV' 1 -trough- recommend him to take a series of hot Niltwater baths, as I understand they are very beneficial to the nervous system.—T am. etc., A TEDDY BEAK.
