The following are the results:— • Waterloo Cup, fourth round—Gardenia beat Bugle Call, Scottish Chief boat Jewellery, Darlinghurst a bye. Semi-final: Darlinghurst beat Gardenia, Scottish Chief a bye. Final: Mr. P. Aiken's f. and w.d. Scottish Chief (Duke McPherson—Ace of Diamonds), beat Mr, W, Taylor's f.d. Darlinghurst (Kilmamham—Fairy Tale) and won the stake. Waterloo Purse, third round—Starlight beat Tui, Poseidon beat Lord Cardigan, Better Nights a bye. Semi final: Starlight beat Better Nights; Poseidon a bye. Final: Mr. Harold George's r.d. Starlight (Blacktraeker—Lavender Water) beat Mr. Jas. Penman's bdl. and w.d. Poseidon (Waterloo—PortergalT Liilo) and won tlie stake.
