A euchre and cnbbage match between team* representing the Avenue road and Urnugtou road clubs was played on Wednesday uiglit at .Mr. ltid,aids' residence, Avenue load. ilr. W. C. Malumi opened the "season ' witli an approprial; s|ieech. At crib Avenue load won by four games, while at euchre Carrington road won by two games, Avenue road winning by two games on the grand total.
