One of the oldest and most respectet settlers in New Plymouth, passed awaj yesterday iu the person ot' ill's. \\ J Hack, of Kobe street. The sons who survive are Messrs. John. Walter, William, Alexander and Alfred Jfr Ted Black having predeceased his' mother there is a large mincer oi grandchildren, and several orcut-«mid-ehildren. °
